“Jewelry is one of the most personal expressions of our identity, connecting us to our lived experiences, sense of belonging, and to our family.”
Bliss Lau’s visionary approach to design is rooted in the concept of jewelry as a physical experience—more than an object to admire.
Her designs balance the graceful and dynamic; an approach that draws from her life experience embracing dualities, influenced by growing up in Hawaii and being a New Yorker, and her biracial heritage, she finds inspiration in combining dualities within each design, often exploring both nature and architecture.
Bliss Lau was founded in 2003 upon her graduation from Parsons School of Design. Her one-woman company was launched with a highly sought-after handbag collection that was sold in exclusive shops and boutiques around the world. Today, Bliss's distinctive jewelry designs are recognized across the fashion industry and have been worn by Beyonce, Naomi Campbell, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Hall, Zoe Kravitz, Tessa Thompson, Christina Ricci and many others.
With her bespoke bridal work launched in 2012 and Renew launched in 2020, Bliss has the privilege to become a part of both lives and love stories, building memories, and supporting communities through the conscious making process of her one-on-one creations.
Intentionality is foundational for Bliss. She believes that every decision, no matter how small, can make an impact. This idea is infused into each creation, from the materials to how the pieces come to life with her artisan partners. Thank you for learning our story and supporting our woman-owned and run small business.
“From the process of designing with precious metals and gemstones to the feeling you have when wearing it, I believe a piece of jewelry is more than just an object, it's an experience.”
